I was mesmerized back in the day while watching them perform this song! They seemed so in love, it seemed real but they were not a couple. There were many ladies who played “Peaches.” This song and their vocals are just so dreamy! You can’t help but sing along with this song. Been singing along for decades and am still singing along today at 55! Great music and performances back in the day!❤

Dolly released that version in 1974, but she released it again in 1983 as recorded for "The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas." The latter is the best version of all three, including Whitney's, IMO. You should look it up.

Please recognize the difference. Good, trained tenors would usually have a Tenors high C5, but the majority of Tenors range will top out around Bb4-B4. Falsetto is just an untrained portion of the voice. It's very airy, light and will not usually be in unison with the rest of a trained voice. We must give those high tenors their due.
